Solomon Lincoln diaries, 1854-1862.

Diaries of Harvard student and tutor Solomon Lincoln, kept from 31 August 1854 - 4 December 1862. Lincoln describes his daily activities and studies while a student at Harvard (Class of 1857) and his work as a Harvard tutor and member of the Board of Overseers following graduation. Also included is a scrapbook of newspaper clippings related to Harvard, kept in the 1850s and 1860s.
